In its 30th year, ÜNLÜ & Co once again reaffirmed its strong position in the capital markets through an international transaction. Ünlü Menkul Değerler AŞ, a subsidiary of ÜNLÜ & Co, acted as Joint Global Coordinator and Joint Bookrunner alongside leading global financial institutions such as Citigroup and Merrill Lynch in Koç Holding’s Tüpraş share sale. Driven by strong investor demand, the transaction reached an approximate size of USD 210 million.
While the Tüpraş share sale conducted by Koç Holding was successfully completed, Ünlü Menkul Değerler AŞ played a key role in the sales process targeting both international and domestic institutional investors. Completed with strong investor interest despite the challenging global environment, the transaction is notable as the only block trade executed in emerging markets in the region in the recent period.
“Our Role in This Transaction Is a Natural Outcome of Our 30 Years of Experience and Expertise”
Commenting on the transaction, Tunç Yıldırım, Managing Director at ÜNLÜ & Co, stated:
“In a period marked by ongoing global uncertainties and challenging market conditions, the successful execution of a transaction of this scale with strong investor demand is a clear indication of the confidence in Türkiye’s capital markets. As ÜNLÜ & Co, we successfully managed the process through our expertise, strong relationship management, and high execution capability. We believe that undertaking the roles of Joint Global Coordinator and Joint Bookrunner alongside global financial institutions such as Citigroup and Merrill Lynch once again reaffirms ÜNLÜ & Co’s pioneering approach and 30 years of experience on an international scale. Looking ahead, we will continue to contribute to the development of Türkiye’s capital markets through similar landmark transactions that create differentiation, together with our teams.”
