DİMES Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. successfully completed its planned second commercial paper issuance of TRY 250 million under its TRY 500 million issuance ceiling approved by the Capital Markets Board. With this transaction, the company completed its issuance programme with a total financing amount of TRY 500 million.
The company’s first commercial paper issuance in May was offered to qualified investors in Türkiye. Initially planned with a nominal amount of TRY 150 million, the first issuance was increased to TRY 250 million in line with strong investor demand.
Strong Investor Demand and International Interest
Having entered the capital markets for the first time through a commercial paper issuance, DİMES successfully completed all planned issuances within a short period of time. The full subscription of the second issuance by international institutional investors demonstrates international confidence in the company’s financial structure and growth strategy, while also contributing to the diversification of its investor base.
Strengthened Position in Capital Markets and Continued Strategy
The issuances carried out through ÜNLÜ Menkul Değerler A.Ş., a subsidiary of Türkiye’s leading investment services and asset management group ÜNLÜ & Co, strengthened the company’s position in the capital markets and supported its access to alternative financing sources.
Commenting on the issuance, Cihan Diren, Chief Financial Officer of DİMES, said: “We consider the financing we secure through the capital markets as an important part of our long-term growth strategy.
